Finally we are ready for s product hunt launch!! Spent all day in bed - making changes , editing and re-editing PH images, description. And then sharing the launch link with everyone.

After breaking our heads over the product and lots and lots of interview with similar apps - we had an idea about how our product should look and feel like.
Initially two of the cofounders were convinced on having a web app for learning since they thought that proper learning can only happen over a laptop/PC. But after interviews with our target group, we found that no one likes to open their PC after their 996 shifts! Mobile screens and sometimes Tabs are the only media they like! So mobile app it is.

This is really cool! Congrats on this milestone. I used to work at Coursera and will always have a soft spot for new educational tools. Shorter, bite-sized content is a big win. Duolingo pioneered this with their language courses; I'm excited to see it applied in other course verticals.

Congrats! skillx looks great. The landing page is really nicely laid out - I like the split view here. Everything just feels nice and fresh and modern. Very product-hunty, which is great.
I also feel like you did a good job laying out the information and breaking it into pieces - I guess that's good because that's the point of skillx! Ha. Well - due to how nicely the landing page is broken up, as a user I'd definitely be interested in signing up.

Hey there, just had a look at your landing page - check the FAQS as the headings look like they’re button or something with round corners - the radius is cutting off some of the first characters.
I’m viewing it on iPhone.-

I'd recommend going with a mobile-first/mobile-friendly web app if you haven't already started.
From my experience building for the web and for iOS/Android with React Native. Web app is much easier to build and maintain, and you can get updates/fixes through much more easily without the headache of app stores.
Just my 2 cents though!!
We did idea validation by posting surveys in all kinds of groups, SM channels.
We struggled a lot with exactly what goes on the landing page and how. Never knew that writing a few lines could take so much time!!
We have our landing page! We added a selector bar on the landing page and run FB adds to see if it generates enough interest.
I met my cofounder Anna and we just struck a chord on revolutionizing "education". Atul join our mission soon after and made the team complete. After much brainstorming on a range of ideas including education for pregnant women in India to helping kids cheat (see SnapAsk) , we observed our friends struggling with keeping up with their careers. They were going the 996 route and still trying to catch up on courses on Coursera, Linkedin etc. Most couldnt find what exactly to learn, others didnt know which courses were good and yet others couldnt finish the courses.
So we took on the mantle of building a platform that solves these problems!
Micro-content - so they can read anytime, anywhere
Community Driven Curation - so only the well-liked content stays on the platform
Personalization - so the content they are recommended is good for them
