SkinSort
Build your perfect skincare routine
I've been working on SkinSort since April of last year, and we've just hit a pretty great milestone!
SkinSort is a site designed to help people with their skincare journey. It has tools for things like building a routine (think PCPartPicker but for skincare), as well as an ingredient checker that people can use to get a detailed breakdown of any product's ingredient list.
The ingredient checker has been the site's most popular tool so far, and as of yesterday, it has analyzed over a million cosmetic ingredients from over 50,000 ingredient lists.
So far, the site has grown mainly through SEO (lots of long-tail keywords) and Reddit (it got to the top of /r/internetisbeautiful a while back).
I'm hoping that the site will continue to grow over the rest of this year - it's currently at around 1000~ sessions per day but I feel as though it has a lot more potential.
Initial SEO growth has begun to slow down a bit, and I figure the site needs some more backlinks to accelerate growth, although I've been having trouble finding ways to get those in the beauty industry. Hopefully, shipping useful features will earn backlinks naturally over time.
Would love to know your thoughts or ideas on different ways I could try to grow the site! I'd love to get to 10M ingredients analyzed in 2021 🎉
After receiving some feedback in another IH thread, I went ahead and re-designed the landing page for SkinSort.
I added in a bunch of mobile phone mockups to show users what the tools on the site actually look like when in use.
Hopefully this helps to increase signups!

Thank you. Great article. Achieving glowing and radiant skin is a goal for many people, and using skin cares and skin serums is an effective way to achieve it. Skin serums are lightweight, highly concentrated formulas that contain active ingredients such as antioxidants, vitamins, and peptides that help improve skin texture, tone, and hydration.
I have tried different pages script for my Natural skin care program that hosted on WordPress and it somehow works.
@jacoblab Hi Jacob, hope you are well. I can help out with SEO. Are you looking to hire a SEO expert. Thank you.
