Slate
Simple scheduling for freelancers.
We finally moved Slate out of early access in late March and got out first paying customers a couple of days afterwards, which was a great feeling.
We've been a bit too heads down on building since then but in the last few weeks we've had 10 more trials started. Will be interesting to see how the conversion rate fares with them.
Either way, enjoying the small wins for now :)
Finally got our first early access customers signed up to use https://heyslate.com after sending out a quick questionnaire to people who had shown some interest previously.
I've been tinkering with building my own products for a long long time so this is a massive deal for me personally, always stopped releasing ideas in the past before they got to this stage.
Any tips on how to keep momentum up?

The marketing site was a bit of an afterthought during development as we wanted to get something working that we could both use for our own freelance businesses.
Now that the MVP is ready I spent a bit of time putting together a one page marketing site that briefly explains the purpose of Slate, who it's for and how to start using it.
We're running a early access preview at the moment, you can sign up at https://heyslate.com/

During development I've been using Slate to keep track of my client schedule but it's finally ready to be used by people other than myself.
For now we're not charging any money, really just looking to onboard some early testers who are freelancers to see how Slate might fit into their workflow.

As I freelancer I wanted a simple way to manage my work schedule and track my financial goals for the year (i.e. am I going to earn enough money this year?).
