Slide Roulette

Slide Roulette is live. It's PowerPoint karaoke for parties and teams: the TV shows a deck nobody has seen, the presenter's phone is the clicker, and everyone else reacts and scores from their own phone.

A few things I learned building it:

- The slides mustn't be funny. The first decks had jokes written into them, and the room laughed at the slide instead of the presenter. The library was rewritten as believable business slides with no punchline, and there are now 63 decks, 35 of them written in Danish.
- A party is a load test. Before launch I ran one room with 30 phones for two hours, because the failure that matters is the screen freezing in front of the whole office.
- No cookie banner. Analytics is cookieless, and ads will be measured with tagged links instead of tracking.

It's free for up to 8 players, and I'm aiming it at Danish company Christmas parties this season. I'd love feedback from anyone who runs team events.
