SlideStorm

You guys have probably heard that TikTok is a huge opportunity for marketing your apps.

They have a couple billion users, and a very generous algorithm that shows your content to a few hundred people every time you post, even if you have 0 followers.

I wanted to get traffic for my apps, but I didn't want to be on camera, so I started making slideshows using AI tools like ChatGPT.

You can make pretty good slideshows like this since you can generate images and captions but you have to do it one prompt at a time, and you have to copy everything into the app manually, basically it's very tedious and slow.

So I built SlideStorm.

You just enter a single prompt, and then SlideStorm does it all for you. Writes the captions, generates the perfect image for each slide, lets you easily edit and tweak it, and then you can upload it straight to TikTok for posting.

I've built it with founders in mind. When you sign up you complete a few (optional) on-boarding steps which will ask you about your product and what you're trying to achieve with your slideshows.

For example, you might have a mobile app you want to get more downloads for. Enter your info and you'll receive a set of personalised templates which you can used to start generating slideshows instantly which all mention or promote your product.

Other features include:
- Use the extensive image library to create more natural looking realistic slideshows without generating new images
- Upload your own image collections and make slideshows from them
- Use the "edit image" feature to make changes to an image using AI, such as changing the background, subject details, or even adding your brand logo
- Use a character reference image to create a consistent character across multiple images, or even multiple slideshows
- Connect multiple accounts. SlideStorm is built for people who want to create content at scale. You can connect and upload to 100 TikTok accounts.

So far since launch I have 4 paying customers who are creating a bunch of slideshows every day and driving traffic to their apps.

The speed that you can create content at using SlideStorm is a huge advantage because if you put out 10, 20, 30 slideshows a day you don't need to go viral, you don't need 5 million views or anything crazy, you can get 500-1000 views per slideshow and you're still getting close to 30k views every single day.

This is something like the 5th product I've launched and the most traction I've gotten so far, so I'm really excited about it.

My goal was to scratch my own itch, and solve a real problem for people even if this is not a completely original idea (there are other similar apps out there).

I think this is a better approach than trying to come up with something really original, but it does mean you have to go super hard on marketing and find a way to position your product differently to competitors, which is something I'm working on at the moment.
