Free tool to share a deck instead of sending an attachment
Hi Indie Hackers,
My co-founders and I built a content management platform, Semlr, about 10 years ago focused on enterprise use cases around slide reuse and content assembly for training and sales/marketing decks. Some of our users asked if Semlr's sharing functionality was something that they could use in stand-alone mode. SlideXchange was born!
We've launched slideXchange.com as a free tool to share a deck (PowerPoint or PDF) when you prefer not to send an email attachment. It means you stay in control of your IP, can update your content post sharing, track usage, promote your brand... and for the recipient, the experience is frictionless as there is no file to download. They click on the link you share with them and view your deck in their browser (computer or mobile).
There's also functionality that allows you to present while they follow along. You do need to call them on the phone while you present, but it means you're not streaming your desktop. Works really well in low-bandwidth situations or when one of you is on-the-road.

Really interesting, thanks for sharing. I think this could be super useful for my team. We’re constantly running into these kind of headaches. Love the idea of updating content after sharing and being able to track engagement. Will definitely give it a try!
