Slotter

The fastest way to schedule team meetings across calendars

December 3, 2025 v0.1 Frontend Demo (No Backend Yet)

I’ve been working on a small side project called Slotter. It's a lightweight team calendar designed to make internal scheduling less painful. This initial version is a frontend-only demo with mocked data. There’s no login, no backend, and no calendar sync yet. The goal is simply to show the core experience: seeing team availability at a glance, and exploring how a focused internal scheduler could feel.

Existing tools like Outlook and Google Calendar are powerful, but for many teams the experience of answering the simple question of “When is everyone free?” can't obviously be answered. Slotter explores a single-purpose interface purely for internal availability and meeting coordination.

What’s in this demo:

- Side-by-side multi-person calendar view

- Instant availability table for quick “who’s free when” scanning

- Basic filters (teams, users, shortcuts)

- Generated sample schedules to showcase real-world scenarios

Again, everything is static for now. The purpose of this demo is to validate whether the core idea is actually useful before investing in integrations, permissions, collaboration features, or an AI rescheduler. If there’s interest, I’ll begin building the backend, calendar sync, and basic scheduling logic. If development continues, a full list of planned features is available on the Roadmap page.

I would genuinely appreciate feedback on the following:

- Does this interaction model feel clearer than your usual workflow?

- Is there a real need for something like this alongside Outlook/Google?

- Which use cases would make this worth building out?

Thanks for taking a look.

About

Scheduling internal meetings at work has always been unnecessarily painful. I want internal scheduling (PMs, managers, team leads) to take 10 seconds instead of 10 messages. This tool aims to solve that.
