In order to attract a wider audience and to improve the service we provide, we decided to make some changes to our pricing structure.
Our Free Tier has been slightly decreased to 125,000 which still allows for a huge number of API requests for free.
Here it is a clear view of all our paid subscriptions tiers:

Free Tier: up to 125,000 req/mo

Startup Tier: up to 1 Million req/mo for $20/mo

Pro Tier: up to 5 Million req/mo for $90/mo

Business Tier: up to 10 Million req/mo for $150/mo
In order to attract small/medium businesses which are not really interested in massive amount of requests but still need something more than what is offered by the Free Tier, we introduced a Startup Tier, which allows for up to 1 Million requests per month for just $20 / month!
For medium to big companies, we suggest to opt for the Pro Tier which allows for up to 1 Million requests per month for just $90 / month!
For bigger companies which need a bigger volume, we added a Business Tier as well which allows for up to 10 Million requests per month for just $150 / month!

In an effort to improve and simplify the JSON response of our API, we are going to merge the "location" and "country" datapoints into a single "geo" node.
To avoid any service destruption the JSON response will contain both the old datapoints and the new one.
Please note, both "location" and "country" datapoints will be removed from the JSON response by Nov 1st in favour of the new "geo".

We are delighted to announce that we just pushed up a new update which includes a big revamp on our developer dashboard!
The new UI allows the developers to have far more control over the number of API calls made over time.
The new API usage card shows the distribution of the API calls over time. It is possible to select between Last week, Last month and Last 6 months time frames. A beautiful chart will show the distribution of such calls for the selected time frame.

The new infrastructure is up and running and as a result we had to update our API hostname to:
An example of the new API endpoint URL is:

Any request incoming to the old API hostname will return with:
301 Permanently Moved, error message.
This new update allows for faster response time and increased scalability!
