1 Million Domain Names Generated

I have some exciting news to share. As of today, SmartyNames.com has generated over 1 Million domain names. This might be a blip on the radar for the industry, but to me, this is a huge milestone.

I have never set out to be a domainer. When I first launched Smartynames on Hacker News in December of 2022 (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33882497), it was just an interesting project worth sharing. Since then I have been meeting people and learning all about this space, and as it turns out, domains are a big business.

It is one of those boring tech ideas that is completely overlooked because the incumbents are collecting all the money, and no one is doing anything particularly new.

I think it's time for a change. I want Smartynames to be the industry leader in the instant domain name search, using innovations in AI to offer new creative solutions for domain discovery, as well as buying and selling.

Currently smarty offers the best AI generated names, but I want more. I am thinking business tools for creators to build on top of exciting new domain names, a marketplace for buying and selling those names, a way to create and publish website with AI and much more.
