What we've found over the last a few months was that cold calling worked the best for us. After trying different cold calling software apps and not happy about them, we built our own. Glad it significantly increased our sales.

We launched Smiley, targeting mainly massage, spa, and beauty stores.

A huge mistake is that we built the whole app (although only one feature at that time) before we conducted the problem interviews. The temptation to start coding before problem interviews is a big disadvantage for founders who can code.
