I'm building Soared (soared.ai) - a resume tailoring tool for job seekers.
The problem
I've reviewed hundreds of resumes over 15 years. When AI resume tools started popping up, I was excited. Then I saw the output.
Buzzword-heavy bullets. Inflated metrics that don't make sense. Content that screams "AI wrote this." Recruiters spot it instantly and move on.
Job seekers are paying for tools that actively hurt their chances.
What I'm building
Paste a job description → get a tailored resume in 60 seconds.
The difference: realistic content that sounds like a human wrote it. No "spearheaded synergistic initiatives." No fake 847% revenue increases.
Current status
- MVP is live
- ~300 resume examples + cover letters published
- Just started user acquisition (mostly Reddit right now)
- Pricing: free tier + $19/mo pro + $99 lifetime
