Hey IH! I just launched Social Intern and wanted to share the story behind it.

The problem

If you run a small business, you know the drill - everyone says you need to be posting on social media consistently. But most small business owners don't have the time, budget, or interest to sit there crafting posts every day. They're busy actually running their business.

Hiring a social media manager is expensive. Agencies want retainers. And most of the existing tools still require you to come up with the content yourself - they just help you schedule it.

What I built

Social Intern is an AI-powered platform that actually generates and publishes your social media content for you. Just give us your website and we figure out your brand, voice, and what to post about. Plans include a set number of posts per week plus credits for when you want to do more. It's dead simple to get started.

Why I built it

I'm a repeat founder. After my last exit, I knew I wanted to build something again, and I kept coming back to this problem. I'd seen so many small businesses struggle with social media - not because they didn't care, but because the existing solutions were either too expensive or still required too much effort. I wanted to build something that actually did the work, not just organized it.

The build

I'm technical, so I built this myself with a small team. The stack is PHP on the backend, Vue.js on the frontend, and a bunch of AWS services gluing it all together. The AI content generation was the fun part - getting it to produce posts that actually sound like a real brand and not generic AI slop took a lot of iteration.

Where I'm at

Just launched a few weeks ago and focused on getting early users and feedback. The product is live and functional - you can sign up, connect your accounts, and start generating and publishing posts today.
