Social Network Idea

The two main reasons why this project exists:

1. Social
   Social networks have created a parallel world where people look at and communicate with people they don't even know or, if they do, see only a few times a year. There is not much overlap between their online world and the real world they move around in every day.

2. Practical
   How do you stay informed about what is happening in your community? What sports clubs exist, what events are coming up, and where to go to get your car fixed?

PS The target audience for this project are probably people over 25-30 years old. It is not intended to be a replacement for current social networks, but a slower counterpart!
