April 20, 2026 Built Socrati to make learning from notes actually usable on the go

Hey everyone, I’m a solo dev building Socrati, a mobile app that turns notes, PDFs, videos, or typed topics into structured courses with lessons, chat, drills, and audio.

I built it because I kept running into the same problem personally: learning was either too passive and random, or too heavy to fit into real life. I wanted something that worked better in the dead pockets of the day like commuting, walking, or the gym.

Right now I’m trying to figure out which positioning is strongest:

  • “turn your notes into a course you can talk to”

  • “audio-first studying on the go”

I like the notes angle more. Tons of people have random notes or saved PDFs they never actually do anything with because there's no structure.

Audio-first feels more niche unless you're targeting gym people specifically. Does it let you speed up the audio or is it fixed pace?

Socrati exists to make learning feel immediate and usable. You type a topic or upload your own notes/materials, and it turns that into a structured course with lessons, practice, chat, and audio lectures!
