It feels extremely rewarding to know that something that was just an idea a couple of months ago is now in the hands of people helping them learn music theory.

small feedback, you should have built it on Web ! I don't see the point for having specific mobile development iOS and Android separatly ;) -

Solfej is the first result when you search for the keyword “solfej”!!
This may not seem like a big achievement, but as a newbie with SEO it means a lot.
The funny thing is I thought I knew about SEO, but turns out I didn’t even know what a backlink was before I started Solfej.

Congrats, and it actually is important - often people just type the name instead of URL.
It's sad to see when new entrepreneurs think that picking a single English word as a name is a good idea, after they've found some free marginal domain for it. Then they wonder why they rank on page 72 of the search results. After 2 years of SEO when they reach page 1, they get slapped with Cease and Desist letter from trademark holder and need to start from the beginning.

Congrats. I will have a tougher time with Hashr, being also a verse of the Quran, reaching the #1 on Google for my own branded domain may be very tricky!

It's insane how something that was just an idea couple of months now has almost 600 people signed up to use it!
It's incredibly humbling and terrifying at the same time.
I'm excited to see where Solfej goes in the next year.
My dream is to make this my full time gig.
On that note, would anybody be interested in reading how I achieved getting beta users? I'm thinking about making a blogpost outlining everything I did.
