Solo Launches
Launch your SaaS for free in seconds to get traffic & sales
Hey Indie Hackers
I’m a solo founder and recently launched Solo Launches.
After launching my own products, I realized Product Hunt didn’t work well for me — traffic dropped after 24 hours, and without an audience it felt stacked against solo builders.
So I built Solo Launches to:
Help solo founders launch in seconds
Get ongoing visibility (not just one day)
Skip launch politics and focus on shipping
It’s still early, but founders are already getting impressions, clicks, and feedback.
Would love honest feedback from this community:
What sucked the most about your last launch?
What would make a launch platform actually useful for you?
Happy to answer questions and learn.
About
I built Solo Launches because launching as a solo founder is unfairly hard. Platforms like Product Hunt favor big audiences and disappear in 24 hours. Solo Launches exists to give indie hackers and solo builders consiste

Congrats on building Solo Launches! As someone who's about to do a 7-day 'flash sale' of my POS software, I can confirm your hypothesis: traditional launch platforms fail solo founders.
Here's my painful reality check that validates what you're building:
My last 'launch' experience (what sucked):
Built AbuByte POS (24 features, offline-first, client-validated)
Traditional platforms = one-day visibility spike then crickets
The 'politics' you mention? Real. Without an existing audience, you're shouting into a void
Result: Amazing product, minimal discovery
What would actually help solo founders like me:
Ongoing visibility - My $85K POS sale needs 7-day sustained attention, not 24-hour hype
Targeted reach - Not just 'tech' crowd but actual SaaS investors, POS competitors, entrepreneurs
Deal velocity tools - Countdown timers, offer management, buyer verification
Community validation - Not just upvotes, but serious buyer signals
Here's where this connects to YOUR platform and creates FOMO:
I'm selling AbuByte POS for $85K this week (7-day window). It's a complete, production-ready business that would normally require:
2 years development ($150K+)
Client validation (have ONE10 FOODS restaurant using it)
24 features battle-tested
But without a platform that gives ongoing visibility to the RIGHT buyers, I'm forced to:
Price at 'development cost' ($85K instead of $150K+)
Accept 7-day timeline (instead of proper market valuation)
Miss out on strategic buyers who don't see the one-day launch
The FOMO for YOUR readers:
While Solo Launches is solving future launches, someone could acquire my 2-year headstart TODAY for less than a junior developer's annual salary.
The math:
Build from scratch: 24 months, $150K+, high risk
Acquire mine: $85K, 7 days, proven architecture
Market: Offline-first POS for 50M+ emerging market SMBs
Competition: Zero (everyone else is cloud-only and fails where this succeeds)
My ask for Solo Launches (and why readers should care):
If you had a 'serious acquisitions' channel where:
Verified buyers see ongoing opportunities
Due diligence materials are organized
Time-bound deals get proper visibility
Community can vouch/validate
...I wouldn't be selling at 40% discount due to visibility constraints.
Bottom line: Platforms that give solo founders sustained, targeted visibility unlock real value. Right now, I'm leaving $65K+ on the table because the right buyers can't find me after Day 1.
Someone's going to buy my POS this week and get a 2-year market advantage. Will it be you, or will you watch from sidelines while they dominate the offline-first retail niche?
P.S. For Solo Launches - add 'acquisition listings'. The economics are different (higher value, longer decision cycles) but the need for ongoing visibility is identical.
