Songwhip
Free universal music links to every platform
Since launching I've been building a mailing list. I have over 4k subscribers but have never sent an email. After the V2 launch I decided now was a good time to send one out.
After advice from a friend I decided to switch to a more personal/indie approach and not pretend to be a large faceless company.
I used sendinblue.com as it was much cheaper than MailChimp. the reception was positive and I had a small spike in donations.
Since January I've been working on the V2 release of Songwhip in order to put the foundations in place required to add features to the product.
The V1 was always an MVP and since deciding to take it seriously and pursue alternative revenue streams I needed a solid base to work upon.

About
In 2017 I built Songwhip to solve a simple problem: not being able to share my music on Spotify with my sister that used Apple Music. Now 1000s of artists use it to promote their music to everyone.
