For the last few days, I've been heads-down building a tool I desperately wanted for my own projects. Today, I'm super excited to finally share it with you all. It’s a SaaS platform that makes creating high-quality AI video simple and, most importantly, affordable.

The Problem: AI Video is Cool, But Annoying to Use

Like many of you, I've been blown away by the progress in AI video generation. The potential is massive. But when I actually tried to use the existing tools for creating quick videos for TikTok or YouTube Shorts, I hit a wall.

The options were either:

a) Crazy expensive, with credit systems that feel designed to confuse you.

b) Way too complicated for creating a simple 15-second clip.

c) They slapped a giant, ugly watermark on your final video unless you paid a premium.

I just wanted a straightforward tool to turn an idea or an image into a clean, ready-to-post video without breaking the bank.

The Solution: A Tool Focused on Speed and Affordability

So, like any good indie hacker, I decided to build it myself. My goal was simple: create a product for creators and marketers who need to move fast and don't have a corporate budget.

I focused on the features that matter most for short-form content:

• HD Video with Sound: It generates high-definition videos with AI-generated ambient sound, making them feel much more dynamic.

• Perfect for Shorts & TikTok: You can choose between 10 and 15-second lengths, ideal for social media.

• Absolutely No Watermarks: The videos you create are 100% yours. No branding, no watermarks, ever.

• Text-to-Video & Image-to-Video: You can either write a prompt to create something from scratch or upload an image and bring it to life.

The whole point is to remove the friction. You get a clean video file you can immediately use in your social media workflow, ads, or anything else.

For My Fellow Devs: I Built You a Cheap API

I know this community is full of builders. While creating this, I realized that the underlying API could be a powerful tool for other developers. Most AI video APIs are either behind a long waitlist or come with enterprise-level pricing.

So, I’ve also exposed the generation engine through a simple, very affordable API. If you want to build your own app, integrate AI video into your existing SaaS, or just experiment with a cool new feature, you can now do it without a massive upfront investment.

The Tech and The Grind

I built the entire platform solo using Next.js, with a Node.js backend to handle the video processing queue.

The biggest challenge wasn't the code itself, but the cost optimization on the backend. My core promise is affordability—for both the web app and the API. This meant spending countless hours figuring out the most efficient way to process jobs to keep the GPU costs down and pass those savings on to my users. It was a grind, but totally worth it.
