SpacedLeet

Prepare for interviews using Spaced Repetition and LeetCode

Visit Website
January 5, 2020 Updated the landing page

The old landing page didn't receive much feedback. Many visitors felt like they didn't really understand what this extension does from the landing page.

The newer version is much cleaner and shinier. It includes a video to quickly demo the extension and a list of features.

No idea what Leet is, but I'm really digging the simplicity of your landing page!

Yup this tool has a specific target audience who already know about LeetCode :)
I'd love to support other websites too. Are you familiar with HackerRank? Or any coding interview preparation website? :)

Rather than telling about the feature , you should focus on what it solves.

From the design end, the typography, visual hierarchy and spacing needs to be fixed.

    Wish you luck!

That's an interesting perspective. I'll try to apply 😊
      Thank you for the feedback!

December 25, 2019 Launched v2.0.0 πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

This is a really big milestone for this project. The first project, the MVP, was bought by 10 awesome customers πŸ₯°, despite the lack of marketing for the extension.

The second version comes after selling a weekend project of mine, Emoji Maker 🐡, which helped me to pay for any services that I needed.

Anyways, the extension is now live on https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/spacedleet/dfhagjnahejiapmfkmmbkheikldoahch

I feel like the best way to market this extension is by contacting a YouTuber who focuses on coding interviews and LeetCode. But I'm not sure if any of them would accept.

Maybe I should set up an affiliate system? πŸ€”

October 20, 2019 Reduced price to $1.99

The original pricing model wasn't making sense to me anymore.

Instead of selling the product at a certain price AND offering a discount on the same page, I now think that offering the product with the discount amount being already deducted would make more sense and would appeal more to potential buyers.

I also updated the styling a little bit πŸ’„.

October 15, 2019 Launched SpacedLeet on ProductHunt! πŸš€

After submitting SpacedLeet to IndieHackers, launching on HackerNews, getting my first customer (πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰), and updating the landing page as some people recommended (more demos, better design), I launched on ProductHunt 😻!

I would love to hear your feedback or questionsβ€”I'm here all day πŸ˜….

Could you share how your PH launch affected your traffic / signups?

October 15, 2019 Updated the landing page with more examples

I saw a comment on HackerNews that mentioned the lack of examples and clarity to what the extension does, which seems to be true.

So, I designed some demos on Figma to showcase how the extension is used on LeetCode and what does it exactly do.

I chose to use the SVG format instead of JPG, PNG or using videos in order to achieve better performance.

I also updated the colors, from Pale Goldenrod to White Smoke for the background color, and to Sea Green for the purchasing button.

You can see the new landing page on https://spacedleet.imedadel.me

October 15, 2019 Got my first customer!!!

I was just randomly checking Paddle, when I realized that someone bought the extension an hour ago! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

This is really awesome and it made me even more motivated to keep working on this extension and to launch my next product as soon as possible 😊😊

Update: Just launched on ProductHunt 😸

      Thank you Ryzal!

It's a Chrome extension that allows you to use Spaced Repetition for reviewing LeetCode problems. It comes handy when preparing for interviews or to "stay in shape" for any possible job switches.

The updated landing page has a demo for how the extension works 😊(https://spacedleet.imedadel.me/)

October 13, 2019 The landing page is live!

I spent this afternoon setting up the lading page, logo, and social media images. I just finished setting it up and it's now live at https://spacedleet.imedadel.me

In order to maximize the number of shares on Twitter and Facebook, I added a custom card image using metadata as described on Twitter's documentation.

October 3, 2019 Initial Idea

I started using LeetCode (among other sites) while preparing for my upcoming interviews. However, I got frustrated by using spreadsheets or to-do lists to organize my reviews.

So I decided to make a chrome extension that automates my workflow using Spaced Repetition and allows me to focus on learning.
