Spelling Test
Spell Words, Numbers, Cities, Phone numbers and letters!
We are thrilled to share recent news from Spelling-test.com
During this pandemic process, we had the chance to work on our project, Spelling-test.com, and I am glad to share recent updates from the platform. We got the communities' feedback and worked hard on the suggestions.
Here is the list of recent product update:
1- Fixed minor and major HTML / CSS bugs
2- Added new Spelling Sounds in UK/AU/American Accents.
3- Added Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions Pages
4- Developed Learn Vocab pages and added a real-time search bar
5- Tutors can add their own spelling test starting now. However, we need to test it a bit more as we need to be sure about the workflow. Unfortunately, we need to approve tutors' tests manually for now.
6- Spelling Test Blog is ready and 20 Articles were scheduled.
7- Improved the Spelling test engine
8- Added report button on the Learn Vocab page
9- Changed the Spelling Exercise page and added new spelling tests according to levels and topics.
10- Added favorite button on the Learn Vocab page
11- Categorized all spelling tests according to students' needs.
It is still not perfect but we feel like we have made great progress!
It took 3 months but we had seen that coming. My developer friend and I had to complete our mandatory military service in a different time range. After that, I moved to Australia, many things happened. Finally, we have an MVP. I already started to implement digital marketing stuff. Besides that, we have fixed every other bug that made the product clunky.
Luckily, we have a decent structure that allows us to quickly fix bugs. I tried to keep it simple and here we are.

While I was working on an international English language test, I needed to practice Spelling and Listening. I did a quick search on Google but there were only youtube videos and blog posts that didn't meet my needs.
I thought it would be good to speak about this idea with a couple of friends and I quickly started to write my ideas on paper. After a while, I realized that this approach wouldn't help me. I had included many things that came from my professional business life and experience. However, I had missed one of the most important approaches: Keep It Simple, Stupid.
