Spenso

I planned to start using Spenso as my personal money tracking app since alpha version and then gradually add friends and family to the process.

Alpha version is done, I still have things to finish, but the app is in a state when it is possible to use it without a great discomfort.

I selected tech stack and created basic API endpoints by now, configured authentication and server.

It took me a while to figure all things out, research some topics a bit and write a plan.

I guess the UI will take the most time for sure, as it should be simple yet powerful and this is very difficult to achieve.

I decided to create Spenso when lost hope to find an easy to use yet powerful money tracking app with a nice interface that will not make me tired of it in 15 minutes.

My goal is to make it:

• Simple to use
• Privacy focused, no obligatory emails, no social network ids kept in plain text
• With a nice interface that will not need a tour to explain
• Multiplatform, including web
• Incorporate some AI maybe, but still thinking on this topic
