Spike
YouTube alerts when a rival hits N views in T hours
I run YouTube faceless channels. I already know my competitors. The job is simple: when a topic takes off on their channels, I want hours to plan and film the same day – not a recap tomorrow, when only leftovers are left. I was late too often.
So I built Spike.
You add a rival, a view number, and a time window. When a new upload crosses that line – 3,000 in the first hour, 10,000 in 24 – it lands in the dashboard. Title, count, how many views were added in the last hour. Optional signed webhook. You don’t bring YouTube API keys.
Just launched. Trial is 3 channels / 7 days, no card. Plans from $9, billed by channels, not by pings. Product Hunt is Tuesday.
If you run faceless or sit on a small competitor list: what do you actually use to notice a breakout in time?
