Spiti
Spiti is your team's private YouTube
Spiti is a private YouTube for teams. We started building Spiti to help teams easily organize and give easy access to all their videos. These videos can range from simple onboarding videos (employees and users) to internal code reviews to all-hands and townhalls to customer conversations and feedback.
We have been actively speaking with current and potential users and something came up a while back. Our users have videos that they want to privately share and collaborate with their clients. It immediately hit us how powerful this bit it — both for our users and for us. Set out to build it. Shipped it in 5 days!
It works just like Slack connect, but with videos. Want to know more? hit us up at support@spiti.xyz or check out https://spiti.xyz
Looking forward to hearing from the community here. 🧡
Hey 👋🏼
We just launched Spiti on Product Hunt and we are super pumped (and nervous) right now!
You can find the post here: https://t.co/zNFFiiBUdl
Check out the post and ask us anything.
We had been preparing for this launch for about 2 weeks now and followed every item on the launch checklist. Head over and show us some love. ♥️

We received a few inbound requests to enable sharing internal playlists with specific people. We also understood then that this would serve as a great way to reach more people. A sort of secondary marketing.
We set out to take lessons from Notion's workspace sharing feature and built the minimum and basic requirements to make a playlist shareable outside their team. You're gonna love it. I promise.
More about it here - https://blog.spiti.xyz/public-playlists-on-spiti/

We finally completed beta testing and launched a new, improved, and more stable version of the app.
Onboarded 25 more users.
This bit was challenging and consumed way more time than initially anticipated.
Complex bits included RBAC, multiple workspaces, finalizing and building the new member onboarding, etc. In addition, payment through Stripe is a little more complex than expected because of govt. compliances in my country.
But, finally, here we are. New app, 30 users, $ 3600 ARR!!

Find the right co-founder for Spiti who will be associated with me and Spiti for a very long time was hard. Very very hard. I've been on the hunt for someone who fits all my "must-haves" for over 10 months.
I was on the verge of giving up and hiring a CTO instead when I met my co-founder on YC's SUS co-founder matching tool.
We had a few calls, I enjoyed my conversations with him, I liked the way he thought, plus it helped that he had been working in a YC start-up for a while. We worked together for about 45 days to get an understanding of how we work, compatibility, vision for Spiti, and passion in the SaaS space.
By the end of it, I officially onboarded him! So, I now have a co-founder. He will be the CTO and will handle all things engineering. Cheers!

We heard you and built a detailed page with our product details, product offering, and how to get access once we launch.
✨ We have also enabled early sign-ups. ✨
As always, there will always be a free tier that helps you play around and understand how Spiti works best for you.
Can't wait for you all to see what we have been building the last few months. 🛠

We actively worked with one of our beta customers, making sure they had a smooth and delightful experience. We gave them examples of how they can organize all their existing videos and make them easily accessible to everyone in the team.
They wanted to continue using it and offered to start paying!!
YAY!

The focus is on companies that create video content for a myriad of use cases — internal training videos, employee onboarding videos, product demo videos, sales pitches, meeting recordings, etc.
We are solving the problem of video storage and access by focusing on the ease of access to team videos through playlists.

I set-up the waitlist for users to sign-up for early access to the first version of Spiti. Users on the waitlist will be the first ones to know when Spiti is launched and they will also get access to the discounted prices for a short duration of time post-launch.
I want to talk to as many people as possible to discuss their experiences and hiccups working from home so I can factor all that in while building Spiti. Hence, in addition to the waitlist, I also set-up a confirmation email upon signing-up on the waitlist. This email has a link using which users can set up a time with me to discuss their experiences.

I wrote down what I have conjured up in my mind about Spiti, why I'm building it, what I'm trying to solve in order to make remote and distributed work more productive by making collaboration seamless and less intrusive.
I want my readers to actively think, recognize, and declutter challenges they are facing when working from home or away from their teams.
The intro blog speaks about the challenges, why I'm solving it, and how I'm going about narrowing down on the most critical challenges.

Increase in the number of videos produced — as meeting recordings, internal information, demos, internal tutorials, sales pitches, etc — has made video organization, finding, sharing, and collaboration a huge challenge.
