Splits.io

Our revenue continues to increase in the long run, however it's not fast enough to continue to use as a full-time income for me and my family. That's totally ok -- things are looking up and I'm excited to continue working on Splits.io as a side project!

In the meantime, I've accepted a full-time position as a senior software engineer at YourBase!

We just welcomed our third team member to Splits.io, Franklyn, who will be focusing on business development, sales, and light marketing! We've been severely lacking in these areas since day 1, so we're excited to bring Franklyn on board to start developing in areas other than pure tech.

Thanks to our amazing Patrons, we now take in enough money per month to pay for our servers. We're still working for free so we have a long road ahead of us to truly break even (after grocery shopping :P), but our trajectory has been great, and it's within the realm of possibility.

After leaving Twitch after five years, I've decided to foster the growth of Splits.io as more than just a side project. Working on it over the last five years on nights and weekends has been a blast, and I would absolutely fall in love with doing it full-time.

I started work on Splits.io as my senior project in school! As a new speedrunner myself, I always have trouble working out where I should spend my practice hours.

With Splits.io, I hope to increase the amount of data that people share with each other in the speedrunning community, so that (selfishly) I can get better at my speedgames!
