One day I got frustrated. I was simply trying to remember where I heard about the product I was looking at buying. I knew someone on Instagram had recommended it, but I couldn't remember who, and even then, I was unsure I could find the exact post.

I had a brain wave.

What if I had a browser extension that would show me who recommended me this?

And then a second thought.

I wonder how much revenue content creators lose out on because of this?

I started to build out the idea in my head.

1. Content creators add their affiliate links and promo codes to the platform
2. Then they promote their page on the platform where their followers can follow them.
3. Using a browser extension, their followers will be reminded of products the content creator recommend while they shop online
4. Content creators watch the extra money roll in and followers feel great about supporting content creators they love (and maybe save a few bucks too!)

Is it an idea that will work? I'm going to find out soon. I'm currently building out the MVP and seeking out content creators to test the idea.
