Hey Indie Hackers,

I recently launched SPYLL (https://spyll.id).

The idea started after I looked at existing BaZi and Eastern metaphysics tools. Almost all of them look like they were built in 1998, packed with superstition, and terrible to use on mobile.

I wanted to see what happens when you treat the underlying calendar system with proper engineering:

- Real astronomical calculations using the VSOP87B ephemeris instead of static lookup tables.

- True Solar Time coordinate adjustments so birth charts do not break across time zones.

- Using LLMs to translate the calculated stems and stars into clear psychological archetypes instead of cryptic fortune-telling.

Stack: Next.js 16 (App Router), Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, Supabase, Payload CMS, and Dodo Payments.
