An Idea Is Born
SSL Hound was created out of necessity: A certificate expired, the service was updated, a host was missed, hours of productivity lost, and customers impacted.
I didn't want to go through that again, so I put together an MVP and started getting feedback. It wasn't long before the service had a few users and it started to come together as a MVP.

I just saw this after I launched https://watchmyssl.com, and I see that your site is down. Did you write about the reasons for taking it down? Was it lack of traction? I wrote my tool out of self interest, but I'd like to learn from others who've tried the idea before.
