Stackable has gone through so much and we're now ready to talk about it publicly.
1. Started out as B2C, but now have a B2B focus
As most products here start out, Stackable was created to solve my own problem – bookmark organization and tab management in browsers are primitive. The past year has allowed me to zoom out a bit and come to a realization that the larger problem I'm tackling is knowledge management – how can I efficiently organize and find my things. This problem also applies at a much larger scale within companies. Hence our focus is to know build sharing and collaboration features that allows teams to share knowledge more efficiently. We're also actively looking into using AI to search across a companies knowledge base.
2. Hired our first full-time engineer
We've gone through almost 10 engineers in the last 2 years. All have come and gone due to mostly performance and commitment issues. They were also all part-time. And we've realized that we needed someone full-time to have their full mental capacity focused on Stackable. It has been a week since we've hired him and we couldn't be happier with his performance so far!
3. Public beta launched
It has been delayed so many times. Why? Too large of a scope and our strive for perfection. We've since changed the Chrome store listing to public and also made our IndieHacker listing public! I'm currently prepping some marketing collaterals to properly announce it on the various channels.
What now?
We've started our journey to get our first 1,000 users and we're looking to release our first B2B features by the end of May!
If you're looking for an awesome way to organize your bookmarks and manage your tabs, try out Stackable.so. I'd love to hear any feedback, comments and suggestions 😊
Caught up with him again today and we chatted about the app and the roadmap. He seems very excited to get started working on some tickets. I'm just excited to be working with him again. Things are gonna be ramping up in the next few months. I better get started preparing all the tickets and designs now!

I've been wanting to speed up development of Stackable since the beginning. But we wanted to get the app to a good foundation before doing so.
Today, I met up with an engineer that I previously worked with to see if you would be interested in working.

Created a new Figma canvas and started adding screenshots of how similar apps have designed kanban boards and bookmarks.
I've been thinking about doing this for years now, and 2021 is gonna be the year. Getting some concrete wireframes on will definitely get me started on this journey!
