StackTidy

Stop paying for subscriptions you forgot about

February 16, 2026 Rebuilt my SaaS from scratch after 0% activation. Looking for 10 people to try the new version.

Quick backstory: I built StackTidy, a tool that auto-detects SaaS subscriptions from your email receipts and flags waste, ghost tools, and upcoming renewals.

The first version had 13 signups. Zero stuck around. Every single person signed up, looked at an empty dashboard, and left. I tried 4 different onboarding flows. A setup wizard, a video walkthrough, a "skip everything" approach. Nothing worked.

So I stopped and watched where people actually dropped off. The answer was obvious once I saw it: the product asked users to trust it before proving it worked. "Forward a receipt and wait" is not a first impression.

I tore the whole thing down and rebuilt it:

  • New 4-step onboarding that shows the product working before you do anything

  • Home screen with a timeline showing what's renewing this week and what just charged

  • Radar that tracks every subscription with health scores and flags

  • Monthly Story that writes your spending chapter automatically

The core idea is the same: connect your email, we detect every subscription your team pays for. But the experience is completely different now.

I'm looking for 10 people who run a small team (3-15 people) and pay for more than 5 SaaS tools. I'll give you a free month of Pro. All I want in return is honest feedback. Tell me if it clicks or if you still bounce.

Happy to answer any questions about the rebuild, the tech, or the mistakes I made along the way.

January 31, 2026 From spreadsheet hell to a working product in 4 weeks

I'm an IT Manager by day. A few months ago I did a full audit of our company's SaaS spend. What I found:

  • Notion workspace from 2023, still paying

  • Figma seats for people who left

  • Random "free trials" that never got cancelled

  • 3 different video call apps somehow

Total: ~$350/month in pure waste.

The problem? Nobody owns this stuff. Subscriptions pile up, people leave, credit cards keep getting charged. Spreadsheets go stale after a week. Enterprise tools like Zylo cost more than the subscriptions you're tracking.

So I built Stacktidy.

What it does:

  • Add your subscriptions (manual entry, no bank connection needed)

  • See everything in a calendar view

  • Get email reminders before renewals hit

That's it. No enterprise bloat. $29/mo or $290/year.

Just launched and looking for feedback. Would love to hear how others handle this problem - or if you think I'm solving something that doesn't need solving.

Congrats on the launch, looks solid. How are you currently thinking about acquiring early users and gathering feedback?

Currently using X and Reddit. Mostly warm outreach.

Reddit can be incredibly powerful if used effectively. Are you primarily reaching out through direct messages, or are you posting valuable threads in specific subreddits? I've noticed a significant difference in results based on these approaches, particularly regarding when you introduce the product compared to building authority first.

I'm an IT Manager. Found $4k/year in subscriptions nobody was using. Spreadsheets didn't scale. Enterprise tools were overkill. Built what I needed
