Sometimes, it just takes an email.
In this case, I asked a friend if he knew some influencers in the crypto domain and he talked to me about "Les Cryptos de Caro".
I thus sent her an email to see if there could be something to do/create together.

As my conversions on staking crypto detail pages was not enough, I began to make some adjustments so that the main action I want users to do on the page is directly shown in the hero.
Conversions almost doubled, so I suggest for all your pages to really think about what you want users to be doing, and just suggest them right away.
Seems pretty obvious but forgot it as I was adding more and more stuff to the site :-)

Out of curiosity and thanks to @svengau who worked there, I put my hand on some unstoppable domains.
Domains you buy there are blockchain-connected web address similar to a URL with one small difference from casual web domains. They can't be stopped.

As my journey on SEO goes on and on, I've been told and told again that backlinks are one of the most important things.
I thus began to chase the cheap spots to get some.
here are some of my findings
- AccessLink gets you the first backlink for 2€ and then 10€. It's mainly french but you can get them in english by not selecting a category. Here is an example for my staking crypto comparator
- Create your account on DeviantArt. And create a post on staking crypto
- Write articles on dev.to, on a problem you fixed for example, such as how to recreate a mysql database from frm files and idb
I will add more as I'm going further on this process
I don't if you use this or not as for me this is the first time
Just received a mail from ledger as I am part of their affiliate program.
As I can double my rewards, I decided to give it a go.
For this, there was a very detailed description of what was needed, so I
- created a job on upwork with this exact description
- hired somebody who felt reliable
- retrieved the content 1 day after as my pick was for once good
- adapt the code to my website (I use markdown for writing)
- translate it in french (my website is multi lang)
- deploy on https://stakingcrypto.io/blog/ledger-live-staking-a-how-to-guide
- Apply to the contest
Sometimes, everything goes well and that feels good
Sharing stuff is not always easy, but it is definitely worth it!
And I just got a demonstration today when @IndieJames reached out to me proposing to write a post on crypto and maybe get featured somewhere.

As my journey continues on this project I came across this very interesting article to have quick wins (I love quick wins) on the SEO game

So here is what I did in 10min
- new about page: https://stakingcrypto.io/about
- change of title to "Staking {coinName}: blabla" to use the focus keyword technique
For the about page, I also used microdata which seems to be very nice -> see https://schema.org/Person
And while I was at it, I made it for the FAQ section, hopefully getting into teh rich snippets section at some point :-)

So, 5 months to get there. Let's remember what went wrong
- pages not indexed by Google
- no traction
- 1 affiliate (which was a friend)
What I did to overcome that
- adding some data on every page to make them look better for SE crawlers
- Used api to index pages using https://github.com/swalker-888/google-indexing-api-bulk
- answering to every user who asked "where is the best place to stake" on twitter...
- ... and on reddit
- created a subreddit and crossposted on s/staking
- wrote posts about the "best staking rates for january 2022"
- Changed home page to something easier to use as with 16 exchanges, the old layout was not relevant anymore
What next
- create a bot that will answer for me on twitter as it takes too much time
- create a bot to crosspost news on reddit
- create content using jarvis.ai
