StartGDPR

After the launch and validation of the idea in the local market we have launched a version of the product and adapted it for the international markets.

This took more effort that planed and was not just a translation of the platform in English (which also was not trivial), but rethinking the product experience for international users and adapting the legal supporting documents and practices.

Our first paying user was a referral from a fried that we had. That was great because we could get more feedback and touch-base in regards to the product experience. It was a success, the review and testimonial that we got was great and we proudly published it on our site.

After a lot of work in choosing the technical infrastructure for both the front-end and back-end, building the MVP and having all the legal document sources setup took some time but we built it the right way that was extensible in the future. We were certain that more iterations would be happening.

We came up with the idea of making a digital platform that replicates the GDPR compliance process made by consultants.

We started our first sketches on the process and working on the product idea.

Back then the name of the platform was getgdpr and not startgdpr. This came later.
