Startup Mountain Summit

Over the last 10 years, I’ve been attending Startup conferences across the country. However, In the Southeast I’ve yet to find a truly excellent conference focused on early-stage Founders. There are some excellent 1-day events and conferences targeted at later stage Startups, but the early-stage space has been lacking an impactful event, despite the incredible growth happening in the Southeast.

Luckily, I found myself in a position to create such an event in the Southeastern. This is due to a culmination of rapid growth in the city I live in, my work with mentoring startups and living in a place that want to inspire more people to launch their own startups. But launching such an event is a difficult thing to do so we are approaching it the only way we know how: as an indie hacker!

Before I did anything, I immediately started talking to Founders, investors, and event hosts to learn as much as possible on what makes a great startup conference. Then, I brought together an incredible team of startup Founders to put together a one of a kind event.

This is Another Startup - It Might Just Happen Once

Just like any startup, I can't guarantee we will be able to do this again. We are going all out to make as big of an impact as we can to help early-stage startups move the needle. We're keeping the costs low and using the majority of our budget to bring in amazing speakers, workshops, and panelists from the Indie Hacker community. We have a chance to get this right and create an event that wont just be fun, it'll help us all move the needle forward on our businesses.

Too often, events like this are organized and run by non-founders. Their motivations don't always align with the Startup Founder's needs. This is not the case. The organizers of this event have founded Indie SaaS, Indie eCommerce, and other high-growth startups. They have run small marketing and SEO agencies, and they understand the needs of early-stage founders.

Our goal is not to be another MicroConf or SaaStr. These are great events and, if anything, we want to expose more people to attend these events. We want to build a unique event that pulls together great talent, in a beautiful place, and helps the early-stage find ways to grow their businesses.

Have Something to Share?

The speakers, investors, and workshops are being hand picked to provide incredible value to the attendees. We are always looking for new perspectives and ideas to share to the indie hacker community at the event. Please reach out to me if you have something to share!

When is the Summit?
