Title:Looking for feedback on my uptime monitoring beta
Hey Indie Hackers 👋
I’m building StatusEagle, an uptime monitoring tool, and I’ve added extra verification checks to reduce false alerts (noisy alerts are a big pain point).
It’s in beta and free to try:

I’d love feedback on:

Alert reliability ideas
Thanks! 🙏
About
I’ve used several uptime monitoring tools for work and often got frustrated by false alerts. That’s what inspired me to create a new tool that takes extra care to avoid sending false alerts.

Nice focus. Reducing false alerts is a real pain point in uptime monitoring.
One thing I noticed: when I opened the link, I landed directly on the login/sign-up page. I didn’t see a homepage explaining what StatusEagle is, who it’s for, or what makes it different.
Before creating an account, I’d want to know:
• What verification logic you use to reduce false positives
• How it compares to existing uptime tools
• What kind of alerts and integrations you support
• Why I should switch
Even a simple public landing page with positioning, feature breakdown, and screenshots would help build trust and conversions.
From a security perspective, since this tool monitors infrastructure and sends alerts, how are you protecting monitoring endpoints and preventing abuse or alert spoofing?
Concept is solid. The messaging and first impression just need to catch up.
Hello Nautillo,
Thank you for your quick reply. This will be very helpful for me.
I’m currently creating the landing page, which will be available on the main domain. I’ll include all the details you mentioned on the website and will let you know once it’s ready for your review.
Regarding security, we support two-factor authentication (2FA), which can be enabled to prevent account and login theft.
To protect monitoring endpoints such as the health check, we will provide the IP addresses of our monitoring bots. By whitelisting these IPs, access will be restricted and potential attacks on the endpoint will be prevented.
Appreciate the update. Good to hear the landing page is in progress, that will definitely help with positioning and trust.
2FA is a strong baseline for account protection. That’s a must for infrastructure tools.
We’re the Nautillo Pro team. We work heavily in SaaS security, especially around edge cases where trust boundaries quietly fail. We simulate real attacker paths to see if monitoring, auth, and integration logic hold under chaining and unusual flows.
Once your website is live and the system stabilizes, if you’d like an external security perspective, you’re welcome to run a simulation using our free version periodically.
Solid direction so far.
Thanks a lot for your reply, Our landing page is almost ready and we updated the link to that
