StayGreen

The idea for this app started when a few of my friends were dealing with overbearing managers. Their managers were obsessed with the status dot on Teams—if it wasn't green, my friends would get passive-aggressive message.

I wanted to build something to help them, a discreet tool that could give them a bit of breathing room. Hardware jigglers felt risky; plugging a strange USB into a company laptop is a good way to get unwanted attention from IT, which was the last thing they needed.

So, I built StayGreen to run entirely from their personal phone.

It's not just about moving the cursor from point A to point B. I focused on making the activity look genuinely human. The Pro version uses randomized action delays, curved Bézier paths for mouse movement, and even simulates typos to create a believable presence that a simple script can't replicate.

I initially built it just for my friends, but I realized many more people are probably in the same boat. I'm sharing it here today to get your feedback and see if it could help others too.
