Digital guest manuals for short-term rentals
The FIFA soccer World Cup starts June 11. Airbnb says searches in the 16 host cities are up about 80% on last year and nightly rates have roughly doubled. A good month to have a spare room near a stadium.
I build staymanual, QR guest manuals that open in the guest's own language. Most of the guests coming for matches are international, so this is the exact wave it's built for. I wrote a playbook for hosts heading into the tournament:

It's my first news-pegged post after 21 evergreen ones. If you've tried timely content for your product, did it outperform the evergreen stuff?
About
I built staymanual after watching every host I know answer the same handful of questions every stay. Where's the WiFi, how do I get in, what time's checkout. staymanual let you write your guide once and print one QR code

This is a smart news peg, but I’d be careful judging it only by traffic.
For staymanual, the real test is whether World Cup hosts see this as an immediate guest-experience problem, not just a useful article.
The urgency is strongest with hosts expecting international guests soon: language confusion, check-in instructions, WiFi, house rules, local tips, and fewer repeat guest messages.
If the post only gets readers, it is content. If it gets hosts to think “I need this before guests arrive,” it becomes an acquisition asset.
