StayUpdatedWithAI

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I’ve been building stayupdatedwith.ai, an AI voice tutoring platform that lets you learn by talking to AI companions instead of watching lectures. You pick a companion (math, coding, physics, etc.) or create your own, start a voice session, and work through concepts conversationally. Every session is transcribed so you can review and track what you’ve learned.

Why I’m building this
Most people learn best when they can ask questions and get immediate feedback, but 1:1 tutoring is expensive and hard to access. I want to make that experience available to anyone with an internet connection.

Where I’m at

• 20+ subjects live

• Free tier with monthly credits and ad‑rewarded extra usage

• Basic analytics and progress tracking in place
  What I’d love feedback on

• Onboarding flow – does it feel clear what to do first?

• Where the voice experience feels magical vs. “just another AI tool”

• Ideas for companion personas or subjects you’d want as a learner
