Stayy
Helping to grow your revenue and keep guests happy
We've been working with a number of early adopters who often have side-businesses coaching and managing other rentals for people. It became clear that this would be a important channel for us so we've built a partner program to reward referrals.
This also leverages our new feature which allows hosts to manage multiple Stayy pages in one account.
After testing a very rudimentary alpha version with a couple customers I have now launched the beta version to market with the complete feature set to test the business model and validate the solution space.
Keeping the beta version simple enough to launch but also having enough features to hopefully delight customers was a struggle but I'm happy with the end result.

It ain't much but everything needs to start somewhere right?
After working on wireframes and collating feedback I've started to direct traffic to a landing page with the intent of capturing additional beta users when the MVP is ready for launch!
I've been trying to break this project down into digestible chunks - having learned the hard way that going all guns blazing often is unsustainable (even in the short term).

One thing I have always been quite clear about is trying to find ways to show and provide value up front to my potential users. One of the ways to do this is obviously through content and I think some SaaS startups have done a great job of this (Atlassian for example).
Having seen the power of being close to your customers while running an ecommerce startup I'm going to try porting this approach across and so I launched a substack as a way to quickly start delivering content and hopefully generate leads in the future (noting that I may move on from substack once I have time to commit to a more holistic approach here).

Having seen small independent holiday rentals battling fires and then COVID-19 I wanted to help them do things better - starting with this simple tool focused on guest satisfaction and enhanced value capture
