I'm Amit Kumar Singh, an 18-year-old founder, full-stack developer, and BCA (Hons. in AI/ML) student. After facing challenges in finding verified, student-friendly PGs when I moved for college, I decided to build the platform I wish existed — and that’s how StayZ was born.
Alongside me, Ayush Singh in shaping and growing StayZ into a student-first solution. Together, we’re on a mission to revolutionize student accommodation with technology, trust, and transparency.
🔍 What is StayZ?
StayZ is a modern app where students and working professionals can discover, explore, and book PGs and hostels across Delhi NCR (and soon, other cities). Think Tinder-style swipe for PGs, verified listings, real photos, group chats, event booking, and more.

💡 Why I Built It
Every year, lakhs of students relocate and face:
Fake listings on old platforms
Lack of transparency and pricing
No social features or discovery tools
Manual and tedious booking systems
StayZ solves this with a Gen Z-friendly UI, verified PGs, chat + community, and soon AR room previews and UPI bookings.

How do you conduct user research? And how do you promote it to your users?
We conduct user research through direct conversations, surveys, and early feedback sessions with students and working professionals to understand their real needs and pain points. Our approach is focused on building a solution that’s truly user-centric by testing prototypes, validating assumptions, and refining based on feedback. As for promotion, we haven't officially started yet due to limited funding. We're currently in the process of finding investors, and once secured, we'll actively promote user engagement through social media, campus networks, and professional communities.
