Within a week of launching, we got more than 100 sign ups on Sterio. We attained users by posting on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, and Reddit. We also shared the app with our friends and family.

Fun fact: Our users will fit on a double-decker bus.

This version has the main feature that is, cross-platform music sharing on the groups made on Sterio. The user can share music across Spotify and Apple Music. The user can either create a group or join an existing group and share songs with other users.

In a college setting, we are either talking about a song, playing one or we just want to know which song is being played. We faced a problem sharing music across streaming platforms, which made us resort to the use of Youtube links.

We are looking for a simpler way to share songs with a group. We spoke to people about our idea and realized that others were also looking for a similar solution. A solution that bridges the gap between music streaming platforms.
