Online Courses in Greek

November 26, 2020 We reached our first 20 courses!

In our 44 days of life we managed to create our first 20 courses.
As we said before, the plan is to become the go-to destination for online courses in Greece but firstly we have to focus on creating our own homegrown courses before expanding rapidly.

We trust the process.

October 12, 2020 Topskills.gr is LIVE!

YES it happened quicker than expected!
New name, new branding, new content, and of course new goals!
Topskills.gr is going to be the "Greek Udemy" no matter what.

Also, I got myself a great employee that creates amazing courses so I won't be entirely dependent on third-party made courses.

The future looks bright, let's go!

July 17, 2020 It's time to build a team!

The vision is clear. I need to make it bigger, I need to make it better.

Until now my courses are just about the stock market and not subscription based.
I need to change both of those things.

From today I'll start investing in great people who can deliver great courses and support to the customers. Also I'll invest in a greater website because until now I'm just using Thinkific's free plan because the project was just a test. Not anymore.

That looks like a great place to be if your initial test went well — congrats on the project! :)

      Thank you a lot!

June 29, 2020 The first 300 customers is a reality!

Another great moment of the journey!

Now I'm REALLY thinking of creating a team.

Also, half of the sales are coming through PayPal and thus indiehacker can't verify the whole revenue of the project.

I see a change in the minds of the common people in Greece during the Covid crisis. They are waaaay more acceptive of online courses. That's good news.

June 10, 2020 We passed the 200 sales mark!

One word: Unbelievable!

No words can describe how I felt when I realised how much these courses impacted people!

From that point onward I realised that making courses was going to be a key element of my business. I also realised that I should probably start creating a team.

June 6, 2020 The second course is official!

After what seemed like an eternity it was finally ready!

It was waaay more challenging than the first one but in the end it was well worth it. I was extremely proud of this accomplishment and was really looking forward to finally launch it!

By the way, I already had 7 people that bought the course on the pre-sale phase. They trusted me to deliver the course and that was a HUGE deal to me!

April 21, 2020 Announced the pre-sale of my second course!

Ever since my first course about the basics of the stock market launched, people constantly were asking me about a more "advanced" version of it so they could go further.

It was a challenge to make it happen and I needed to pay an actual financial advisor to help me out and supervise the script. I decided to create it with a pre-sale to help offset dome of the cost.

April 16, 2020 Reached 10 customers!

Wow! Not even a week had passed and I'm on double digit sales number. The feeling of people actually buying the product you worked so hard trying to put it together is unbelievable!

Most importantly of all, until now I've only heard good things from my customers! Fortunately everybody was happy!

April 11, 2020 Got my first customer!

I was really happy and nervous at the same time. What if I disappointed my first customer? What if I did a silly mistake and now my first customer thinks I'm amateur?

In the end, everything worked out just fine and my first sale was a reality. Extremely proud.

April 10, 2020 Launched the website with my first course!

After a good 2 weeks of preparation, I finished my first course and launched my website using thinkific!

I was extremely nervous and didn't really have a plan to promote it in any way. I only promoted it on my YouTube channel hoping they'd be interested.
