Google core update damages SEO
The Google core update released on May 4th had a terrible impact to project's SEO. It's not clear the causes of this drop. It seems to be related to the low number of inbound links compared to competitors, which are large portals with well known brands and a lot of traffic.

AdSense implemented
I implemented AdSense as a Proof of Concept to learn the potential CPMs of this niche. After a few months, the results are very positive for the small traffic the site has now (12K unique monthly users). Earnings are very volatile, with peaks and lows.
