Storyteller

Super excited to finally be launching a waitlist with a few sample books. I decided to go with the waitlist approach as I am still working out the GPU hosting as the on-demand pricing are fairly high when there are only a few customers.

I started this project after purchasing one of those "make your own book" for my friend's kid, it only allowed to pick his name and pick from the few character models. Even with these limitations this book was his favourite. So this year I thought that I could create a custom book from scratch and include him as the main character and oh boy was it a success! The word got round - yes I am at this age where most of my friends have kids -they all wanted to create a book for their kids.

The process is fairly simple, you start of with creating a character by uploading 3-5 images of a person and we fine tune the model which already includes the style. The characters are later available to be used during story writing. When writing a story you start with a simple prompt and Davinci helps you out. Once you are happy we illustrate the book using your private model which has your characters. With the book ready it is then saved to the website or you can download it as a PDF. The plan is to partner up with a printing company to allow you to order your books as a hardback.

I am super excited about this project and having a lot of fun learning about transformers and diffusion.
