strands.io
One link to rule them all.
On a whim I decided to start looking to get some early users on strands.io.
I'm not sure I would call it a launch - but users can now sign up and create their own pages.
I'm excited to see where things go. There's plenty of work to do but if I can manage some beta users it will go a long way in improving the product and making sure I'm spending my time on features that actually set it apart from Linktree and other competitors.
Let's see how this goes!
I've been incredibly addicted to Animal Crossing: New Horizons so I thought I'd have some fun with a new demo page.
I spent far too long trying to find his exact in game quote about 'zero interest financing and a lax repayment plan' but I'd say it was worth it.
Early sign up
I'm really enjoying working on this project so far.
I have a lot of cool features planned:
- Drag and drop layout customization
- Analytics
- Short links
- Email lists
The list keeps growing.
In the meantime, while I get the MVP sorted out, I've put up a very simple landing page that allows people to sign up early:
I've actually already received one sign up (from someone I don't know) which is pretty satisfying!
COVID19
With everything going on, I thought it might be a good idea to put the core functionality of strands.io to use so I've put up a COVID19 information page up at: https://covid19.strands.io/
