I built a release calendar for every streamer because I could never tell when anything actually comes out
I'm a big cinema and TV fan, and there's one question I could never answer cleanly: when does this actually drop — and where can I watch it in my country?
JustWatch shows where to stream but isn't a calendar. IMDb has dates but no availability. TV Time tracks shows but skips theatrical and rumors. Nothing put it all in one place — so I built StreamCal.
It's a release calendar for every new movie and TV season across Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Prime, Apple TV+ and theaters, with:
per-country availability — where to watch it where you are
rumor-vs-fact verdicts — a "Season 3 in 2027" rumor isn't shown as a confirmed date
a watchlist that pings you by email, push, or your own calendar feed when something you track drops
Solo-built with Next.js + Supabase, and free. I just shipped the SEO + structured-data foundation and I'm now focused on getting it in front of people. Would love feedback — especially on the rumor-vs-fact angle and per-country availability, which were the trickiest parts.
