Streamsbase

I don't remember the exact date but it was somewhere in 2015 when I was in college that I came up with the basic idea. Me, and many of my classmates were (and still are) into gaming and watching live streams. At that time it was primarily Twitch. But it was hard to keep track of the streaming times of your favorite channels. I always thought of the idea of building a platform around it but never pursued it.

Now with more platforms offering live streaming like YouTube, Facebook, etc. it becomes hard to keep track of who streams where, since streamers constantly switch. Smaller streamers are complaining about discoverability because Twitch has become so huge but it's harder to gain traction on the other platforms etc. I saw a lot of potential to create a platform that makes it easier for viewers to watch their favorite streamers and for streamers to be discovered.
