Strivers Edge
Best for small business and local business marketing growth.
Most small businesses don't fail because their product is bad. They fail because the right customers never find them.
Think about the last time you needed a plumber, a dentist, or a moving company. You searched online. You picked whoever showed up first with decent reviews.
That's the entire game. Not the best business wins — the most visible one does.
If you run a small business, ask yourself honestly: when someone in your city searches for what you sell, do you even show up?
If the answer is no, that's not a marketing problem. That's a sales problem waiting to happen every single day.
About
I started Strivers Edge in 2014 with one clear belief: small businesses shouldn't have to compete in search on luck. I had seen too many quality businesses lose customers simply because nobody could find them online.

Hey, saw Strivers Edge — solid positioning on the AI-powered SEO angle. I've been using Zarek to manage the launch of my own product and figured I'd share what that actually looks like in practice, since it's relevant for an agency like yours trying to get visibility.
Here's the roadmap Zarek built for Strivers Edge (this is real output, not a demo):
Phase 1 — Foundation (Day 1–2)
Nail your one-line positioning + landing page with a single CTA and email capture.
Example: "AI-powered SEO for small businesses that want Google rankings without the agency markup."
Phase 2 — Presence (Day 2–3)
Set up / optimize X and LinkedIn profiles. Create core visual assets — logo, screenshots, OG image — once, reuse everywhere.
Phase 3 — Community (Day 3–4)
Identify 5 communities where your ICP hangs out (r/SEO, r/smallbusiness, Indie Hackers, niche Slack groups). Record a 30–60s demo video. Write your founder story.
Example X post: "I spent 10 years doing white-hat SEO. Here's what actually moves rankings in 2026 — thread 🧵"
Phase 4 — Directory Blitz (Week 2)
List on SaaSHub, AlternativeTo, Futurepedia, Toolify, BetaList, AppSumo, Product Hunt, and 10+ more — each with copy written for that specific venue.
Example SaaSHub tagline: "AI-powered SEO & local search for SMBs — white-hat, Google-certified, offshore pricing."
Phase 5 — Content SEO (Week 3+)
Launch blog post → cross-post to dev.to / Medium → write "Strivers Edge vs [Semrush/Ahrefs]" comparison → publish a launch retrospective.
Each piece feeds the next and compounds over time.
Phase 6 — Double down
Track which channel sent signups, cut the rest, repeat what worked.
Zarek did all of this — positioning, copy for every channel, the directory list, the sequencing. I just reviewed and approved.
