Strokes Studio

When I started the research about similar services providing brands, I noticed a common thing among most of them. Their brand name starts with the word "Design".

Earlier, I thought of names like One Design, Designbolt, Designite. Eventually, I realised it'll be a good way to make it lost in the crowd.

Now come the hardest part. How am I gonna think of a name that no one using and still be relevant to what I'll provide.

Let's think of shapes.. um.. Polygon Design? no no. not nice.
Lines? Brush strokes? Strokes?
Strokes Design..... is was good, but honestly I was not vibing with it.
Strokes Studio? Oh that sounded well. Checked the domain, it's available. let's finalise this.

Choosing a distinctive name was crucial to ensure that our brand stands out and is memorable. With Strokes Studio, I'm confident that this name will not be a hindrance when expanding our services in the future, and will continue to compliment the brand.

I'm very excited to share what I've been upto in past some months.

Since 2020, I've been doing freelancing for many clients, providing them all sorts of design, be it websites, logo, or app designs.

Still in 2020, I got an idea of providing unlimited design services to my existing set of 7 clients. I proposed them this idea and 4 of them got onboarded. At that time, I didn't have any website; but the clients who onboarded also referred me to some other potential customers.

After 2.5 years of providing unlimited services to my existing clients at a three figure rates, I thought of launching this service for global customers in late 2022, much like Penji and Design Pickle, but with wider service options and top-notch quality.
For this to happen. I need to have a list of things to set up before going live.

1. Secure a brand name and build a website to showcase the service. Brainstormed a lot of names, then I came up with "Strokes Studio", Strokes stands for a line or mark made by a movement of a pen or pencil. There's a whole different story of me coming up with this name, which I'll explain in different post 🙂

2. Set the pricing of the service. (This one was more difficult than I thought)

3. And finally, streamline an onboarding process for multiple customers.

Although there's a lot more processing involved besides these three important ones.

Now, zoom past to March 2023, I am very close to launching my own Unlimited Design Subscription, where you'll get unlimited: designs, revisions, and other perks at a fraction of the cost of an in-house designer or agency! 🎊🎉

I am eager to introduce this awesome service to the market...
