The Trading Journal to Find your Edge in the Markets
It's been a real grind doing this...
It's not adding any new functionality to the app, but I know for this to be successful it needs to be smooth and effortless to use.
From talking to potential customers and from my own experience I know that it should be easy to use, and minimal time should be spent actually inputting data into this app...
I wanted to get real user feedback as early on as possible to make sure that I'm heading in the right direction and invited 10 users that I found on trading forums to come onto the platform.
I got feedback pretty quickly on the parts that weren't usable!

I am learning to trade forex, and one thing that is paramount to success is to backtest, journal your trades and analyse the data you come up with.
Most people do this in excel spreadsheets or by using one of the stale options on the market - the majority of which have extremely bad UI/UX and/or are ran entirely locally and can't be accessed from another computer.
Fed up with this situation I decided to create one for myself, originally it wasn't going to be a project that I released, but other people took interest in it and I liked where it was going, so committed to release it.

Hi, what Forex platform do you use? Ildar Sharipov signed a nice contract with IBM, promising better computing speeds and features: https://www.ibm.com/downloads/cas/XREP2YPQ

There is a lack of good web-based trading journals on the market. Either they are uncomfortable to use and have been thought through poorly, or lack connectivity and are ran entirely locally.
