I actually forgot the date I initially came up with this idea. It was definitely some time in the past though!

Basically, what I've done at this point is create the website, the twitter account, and got the basic functionality working. If you click a button you get a random website... so, that's good. Plus, there is a history feature which will show you all the websites you've been too and you can "like" them, so you can find websites you've previously visited.

At the moment, my metrics show I've had 8,531 unique users use the website. Over time, I want to drive this number up, add more websites to my index, and make the history and like function better.

I think the next step for me is to integrate with an "Is it up" API, that would let me know if the websites in my index are up or not. I'm torn between trying to use an existing API, or putting one together myself. I think the latter path might be more fun, but the former is easier. Perhaps I'll have an answer in my next update!
