We finally felt confident enough to put the app on to the Playstore and App Store.
The past couple of months have been stressful trying to get all the necessary functions together for our MVP but we happy now to put it out there.
If anybody feels like breaking it and provide me with some constructive criticism or just straight up tell me how it is please feel free to do so.

So we got accepted onto the Alpha program at the Web Summit in Lisbon.
We went there in hopes to get investment, which, well, didn't happen, but that's ok, we now have an idea of what they are looking for with a business such as ours.
We also came away with many great connections from all over the World, all showing great interest in the business idea, so it is just a case of finishing our MVP and putting it out there, what could go wrong ........
Been accepted into the Alpha Program for the 2019 Web Summit in Lisbon. We have our own 1m x 1m stand, access to all 3 days of the event, access to mentor meetings and investor networking.
Been offered a 2-minute speaking slot on the new Startup Showcase stage.
We started putting together the bare bones of a website/landing page for the platform, describing what we were trying to achieve, and who the platform would be suitable for.
But I could only get as far as my web coding could get me, which was not very far

Thought of using WordPress to get it rolling without code?

Hi @QuentinLintz, we did start using a WordPress theme in the early days, but we wanted to be a mobile-first platform, Anyway, we have our website now stylesandme.com

Started coming up with ideas and developing the features of the platform.
Created a flow for how the platform will work, from user account creation and the details we needed from them, through to how they book and pay for their services, and how to onboard professionals easier.
Styles and Me was thought up and discussed between Emmanuel (Founder) and Alfie (Co-Founder) whilst still students at University.
Emmanuel had the Idea and Vision, Alfie had a brief tech background, so they decided to pursue the idea and see where is took them
